Orinda's Originals, Inc. was started in 1979 by Orinda and Mike Sears.  Our first ornaments were made to decorate our tree with memories of our family.  The tradition has continued year after year.   My kids are now grown and we enjoy sharing with the starting of other families traditions of their personalized ornaments.  Ornaments they can enjoy for years to come!

When my husband suggested that our ornaments were good enough to share and sell to other people, we had no idea of what we were in store for.  Many hours were spent at the dining room table working on ornaments for craft shows. We started this business on a shoestring budget.  Our 1st big craft show we packed up our ornaments in our old green pickup truck.  We didn't even know if we would have enough money for a hotel.  We were doing 2 shows.  What a surprise for us in that we were so busy at the first show, that we had to work in a hotel room in between shows to make enough ornaments for the next show! 

From there we expanded and have continued to grow and share our ornaments! We have Personalized ornaments for all occasions.  Whatever you are looking for, we probably have an ornament just for you.  We even have special ornaments for the entire family, including your pets.

Every year I am excited to design new styles and add to our collection. I feel so lucky to be able to share these ornaments with you.  I love the challenge of coming up with the perfect ornament for customers and seeing how happy it makes them!  I feel so lucky to be a part of so many people's Christmas.  It is an honor!
